Puerto Rican born Mezzo-soprano Mila Ortiz is a recent transplant to the Portland area. Looking to immerse herself in the local music scene, Mila has joined the renowned JCT Music Studio and most recently performed with Portland Opera in the Park and Portland Symphony in Rigoletto.

Mila has recently signed with The Option Agency for TV and Film.

Past performances include HMS Pinafore with LOop Opera and Stage to Screen with Avalon Events at the historic Kiggins Theater. Beethoven 9th Symphony and Puccini Messa di Gloria with Vancouver Symphony and Portland Symphonic Choir.

Previous accolades include performing the Carmina Burana at Carnegie Hall and roles in state-wide productions of A Chorus Line and West Side Story as well as TV and Film credits. 

Other interests include dog rescue, tennis, coffee and art.
